6. PERFORMING AN

b.
Uploading the Data File to the WebAudit
Now
that you have a data file (refer to preceding Section 6a for creating the file),
you need to bring it into the WebAudit for data cleaning and report generation.
How is that done? Easy.
Follow the steps below.

Request and activate a WebAudit account if you do not already have one.

Log in to the WebAudit, using your user name and password.
|
| 3. |

Select “Diabetes WebAudit
Facility Administration” from the Applications List.

Select
"Enter Facility Information" |
| 5. |
|
Enter
the number of active patients in your diabetes register and whether your
community receives SDPI funds. If your community does receive funds,
provide the SDPI grant number.

Click
the "Save" button. |

Return
to the Main Menu and select "Diabetes WebAudit" from the
Applications list. |

Click on the "Upload Data" button.

Click on the “Browse..” button and navigate to the data file (.rec
file), then click on “Open”.

When the .rec file has been selected, click on "Upload". |

If the upload of the data file is successful, you will receive a message
on the screen telling you that the file was successfully uploaded.
You will also receive an email confirmation.
If the upload is unsuccessful, you will receive an on-screen message
telling you that the file upload attempt was unsuccessful, with a brief
description of the problem.

Once the file has been successfully uploaded, you may proceed with
checking the data quality (see Section 7) and/or producing reports
(see Section 8).
