The Strong Heart Study found that diabetes was the biggest risk factor for cardiovascular disease in American Indians. The present report will show you what the CV risk factors are in your patients with diabetes and what actions are being taken to minimize the risks. A second section of the report highlights opportunities to reduce the risk. Because diabetes increases the risk for women fourfold, men and women are shown in different columns.
