The WebAudit is an internet-based system for working with audit data. Hospital and clinic sites that perform manual audits can now enter their records directly into the WebAudit (formerly they used an Epi Info program). The audit elements are identical to, and in the same order as, the ones used in the Epi Info audit program. Facilities performing electronic audits using RPMS can transfer their audit data files into the WebAudit. Any site that has computer access to the internet may enter their data and produce all of the audit reports, regardless of whether or not Epi Info is installed on the computer. In order to begin using the WebAudit program, you must have an assigned User Name and Password. If you do not have these items, check with your local Diabetes Coordinator or go here ("Request Access") for access to the WebAudit. Once you have your username and password, you can get to the audit website by going to the entry point (the IHPES Portal) and logging on. Then choose "Diabetes WebAudit". From there on, it is pretty self-explanatory. Follow the on-screen instructions.
